Kyle Bozicevic opened Alpha Acid in 2014 with a focus on specialty brews and limited releases. With an average of 2 new beers each and every week, the brewery quickly earned the nickname “the small-batch kings” of the Bay Area! While the brewery first rose to prominence with its IPAs (it’s even named after a hop compound that creates bitter flavors) fans quickly discovered a host of things to love, from Stouts to Pales to Wild Ales.
